Ultrafast Laser Spectroscopy and Imaging Laboratory
Ultrafast Laser Spectroscopy and Imaging Laboratory - Femtosecond spectroscopy and material processing room equipped with femtosecond regenerative and parametric amplifiers. Laser system produces high energy, ultrashort <35fs pulses tunable from deep UV to far IR. Measurement tools cover classical pump-probe setups including transient absorption, fluorescence up-conversion, time-correlated single photon counting and four-wave mixing spectroscopies to study time-resolved photoluminescence, ultrafast absorption processes, carrier dynamics and charges in photovoltaic materials. Laser system can be used in addition to spectroscopy in micromachining of materials as well as annealing of CIGS and a-Si solar cells.
