Inventory visibility will increase with this project, allowing the differentiation between truly free and available stock, and stock on hand that is soft pegged to a forecast (and thus a projected future sale). Current processes are manually intensive and cannot be scaled up anymore. Too much time is being spent on manual steps, building and consuming reports in Excel. Communication between teams is increasingly difficult as the volume of orders increases, and a system is needed to pave the road to future expansions in SAP
